For the past three and half years, I have worked at florist shop in San Luis Obispo, California, gaining skills in most aspects of the floral industry. Under the mentorship of a Top Ten Designer of California, I have become skilled in European, Traditional, Contemporary, Garden, Sympathy, Custom and High Style design in addition to experience in event production, wedding work including corsage and boutonniere design, and mass production for holidays. I am also proficient in customer service skills including Dove and Mercury Technology and sales.
Previous to this, I held various positions in customer service as a cashier, receptionist and food server that allowed me to gain a true understanding of customer satisfaction and the importance of conscientiousness and communication in the workplace.
Avid collector and grower of exotic caudiciform and succulent plants with special interest in propagation.
Computer skills include: Dreamweaver Web Design program, Fireworks image optimization, Microsoft Access Database, Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
